The razor is in excellent condition overall.
The plating shows some fading, but still in very good condition for a razor of this age.
It is giving a very nice vintage look.
The GARDETTE razor are very well built, in the French tradition, and are known to be very aggressive.
The pattern on the handle gives a very firm and secure grip.
The handle is hollow, but the razor still weight a nice 55g !
The metal seems to be brass plated.
It was CLEANED and POLISHED
The case is in good condition outside, but the fabric inside is somehow dried.
Overall it is a nice little piece of French razor history.
