    Up for sale is a 1948 British Gillette No.44 flat bottom, fat handle double edge 3-piece safety razor which is an absolute favorite among numerous DE shavers for everyday use. This is an uncommon baseplate and cap with long slot design that is sought after by many collectors. Nickel plating still intact.
    Sterilized and ready for use. Stamped Gillette. Made in England.
    It is presented in its original, virtually mint condition blue faux shagreen covered steel case with Gillette branding on the top & inner lid. It snaps shut as it should.
